Meet Jessica

Jessica Jacobson Gould lives in Albemarle and began her rewarding journey with Hartsell Funeral Home in August of 2017 as a Funeral Director's Office Assistant by assisting families during an emotionally trying period in their lives.  Since working with us, Jessica has transitioned to become an Advanced Planning Assistant, where she aids Jeff Thaxton and families with pre-planning their funeral arrangements.  She is also our Norview Gardens Cemetery Coordinator and assists families with their final resting place.  Jessica went to South Stanly High. She adores the time spent with her wonderful husband, Dewayne, their beautiful daughter, and their family.

Meet Brant

Brant Eudy is our Grave Crew Supervisor and Equipment Operator.  He’s been a valuable member of our Hartsell Team for 20 years.  Brant’s thankful for his wife, Megan, and their 3 amazing children.  They enjoy calling Oakboro their home.  Brant grew up in Stanfield and attended West Stanly High.  One of his favorite quotes is from the film, Gladiator- “What we do in life echoes in eternity.”
